Plottergeist can accept PCL printer data from instruments or computers over GPIB or RS-232. Support for both black-and-white and colour printers is provided, Devices such as Thinkjet, Paintjet, Deskjet and Laserjet are emulated. as well as a generic text-only printer. This allows textual output and screen raster dumps to be captured. The graphics can be saved to file, exported in a variety of formats, or sent to a conventional windows printer. The following screen shots illustrate the type of graphics that can be captured and displayed by Plottergeist.
